MCS Homes is a local custom new home construction company owned and operated by Steve Satterwhite, a Cary, NC native since 1972. MCS homes builds the old fashioned way with concentration on traditional stick built building methods and quality craftsmanship.

After spending time in the 80’s working for his brother siding and boxing houses, Steve ventured into a superintendent’s role with a few local production builders throughout the 1990’s. Having left construction in late 1997 to pursue a career in the mortgage industry and successfully operating his own mortgage company (Satterwhite Financial) for over 21 yrs, Steve decided to go back to his grassroots of construction in late 2019.

After completing the NC General Contractors exam, MCS Homes was formed.  Primarily focusing in Chatham County in the Chapel Ridge area, we continue to grow and expand. The company’s emphasis is on quality construction and making our homeowners happy with the end result.
